I went to
Gourgeous Glastonbury No 4 this year - fourth time, and it was the best.
Sun was shining, fantastic bands reeling out amazing music (
Foals, Laura Marling, Florence & The Machine, Bombay Bicycle Club, Gorillaz, Wild Beasts, MGMT, The Drums) i saw so much more, but we'd be here for yonks if i went through them all.
My feet were still hurting around two weeks after from running to catch the next band before the tent filled to max.
I spent most of my time up in
The Park - i wondered up there in the mornings for breakfast & to check out the oxfam shop - The Groovy Smoothies stall was fab. I saw I Blame Coco (Coco Sumner) in the morning not just live but after as well - eating her breakfast. In the eve i went to
Shangri La - oh.golly. - it was one of the
best experience i have ever had. ever. oh man i can hardly put in the words how it blew my mind - the art, the tunnels,
the lights, the music, the jokers,
the american dancing cafe's. was just truly and honestly
mind blowing.
But there was one thing thing i had realised more than anything else. G
lastonbury Festival is the BEST festival in all the land. I had realised on why people were touching on that so much - it's like 10 festivals in one,
anybody & everybody has to go there once in your lifetime. But i warn you. after you've been once. you'll be back. back for good. (not in Take That terms)
